Action Management

Overviewโ€‹

Action Management is a core feature that allows users to add, edit, and manage various action providers within the platform. This documentation provides a comprehensive guide on how to navigate and utilize the Action Management interface effectively.

Accessing Action Managementโ€‹

Action Management can be accessed directly from the main navigation panel. When selected, it displays additional dropdown options to help manage actions across the platform.

Adding Actionsโ€‹

Action Provider Categoriesโ€‹

  1. Navigate to Action Management in the main menu
  2. Select Add Actions from the dropdown
  3. You will be redirected to the Add Action page
  4. Click on any Action Provider Category expander dropdown

Each Action Provider Category contains:

  • A detailed description of the action provider
  • Functionality overview
  • Use case examples

Authorizationโ€‹

To configure an action provider:

  1. Switch to the Authorization tab
  2. Enter the required credentials and details specific to that action provider
    • Note: Admin privileges may be required for certain authorization settings

Managing Actionsโ€‹

Once actions are added to your library, several management options become available.

Action Optionsโ€‹

For each action, you can:

  • Edit action configurations
  • Add the action to specific groups
  • Make actions visible in ACE applications

Editing Groupsโ€‹

Group permissions can be modified to control which users have access to specific actions:

  1. Select the action you wish to modify
  2. Click on the Edit Group option
  3. Adjust permission settings as needed

Removing Actionsโ€‹

To remove an action from your library:

  1. Locate the action in your action list
  2. Click the Remove from Library button
  3. Confirm the removal

Once removed, the action will no longer be visible or available in your applications.

My Applicationsโ€‹

The My Applications tab provides a comprehensive list of all actions that have been added to your platform:

  1. Navigate to the My Applications tab
  2. Review the list of integrated actions
  3. Manage existing actions directly from this interface
