Global Settings

Introductionโ€‹

This guide provides detailed instructions for accessing and configuring Global Settings within the platform. These settings allow administrators to manage LLM models, vector databases, customize platform appearance, configure SMTP, and manage API access. Note that many of these settings are accessible only to users with super admin privileges.

Accessing Global Settingsโ€‹

To access Global Settings:

  1. Navigate to the left navigation bar
  2. Select "Global Settings"
  3. You will see multiple options:
    • LLM Management
    • Platform Settings
    • License Details
    • API Management

Note: These settings are only accessible by super admin users.

LLM Managementโ€‹

The LLM Management section allows administrators to add and configure language models from different providers.

Adding Modelsโ€‹

  1. Click on LLM Management in the Global Settings menu
  2. Expand the dropdown for any provider
  3. Click the Add to Model Library button
  4. Enter the required API key
  5. Select the appropriate group
  6. Click the Add button to add the model

Managing Modelsโ€‹

  • Use the Configuration button to enable or disable providers
  • Toggle visibility settings to control which models are shown to other admin users
  • Added models will appear in the My Model Library tab

Platform Settingsโ€‹

Platform Settings include three main categories: Appearance Settings, Help Center Settings, and SMTP Settings.

Appearance Settingsโ€‹

The Appearance Settings allow customization of the platform's user interface.

Global Appearanceโ€‹

  1. Click on Platform Settings in the Global Settings menu
  2. Expand the Appearance Settings option
  3. Select Global to customize the entire platform UI
  4. Customize the following:
    • Platform images
    • Base colors
  5. Click Save to apply changes (the platform will refresh)

Module-Specific Appearanceโ€‹

  1. Select specific modules like Chat or Search
  2. Customize appearance for the selected module
  3. Changes will only affect the specified module

Help Center Settingsโ€‹

  1. Expand the Help Center Settings option
  2. Enable or disable the help center
  3. Update help center links
  4. Click Save to apply changes

SMTP Settingsโ€‹

  1. Expand the SMTP Settings option
  2. Enter the following SMTP details:
    • Username
    • Password
    • Host
    • Port
    • From Email
    • Display Name
  3. Click Test Connection to verify SMTP configuration
  4. Click Save to apply changes

License Detailsโ€‹

The License Details section provides information about your platform license.

Viewing License Informationโ€‹

  1. Click on License Details in the Global Settings menu
  2. View details including:
    • License validity period
    • Status
    • Super admin limits
    • User limits
    • License key
    • License type

Updating Licenseโ€‹

  1. Click the Update License button
  2. In the popup window, enter the new license key
  3. Click Activate to update the license

API Managementโ€‹

The API Management section allows you to manage API tokens and access API documentation.

Creating API Tokensโ€‹

  1. Click on API Management in the Global Settings menu
  2. Click Create New Token
  3. Enter a token name
  4. Set expiration preferences (or select "No Expiration")
  5. Click Create
  6. Copy the generated token when prompted (note: the token will only be shown once)

Managing Existing Tokensโ€‹

  1. Navigate to the Existing API Token tab
  2. View all created tokens
  3. Delete tokens as needed

  3. Browse comprehensive API documentation
  4. Test APIs within the documentation UI
